Training for Scissor Lifts

Scissor Lifts are an Aerial Work Platform (AWP) or Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) also known as a cherry picker or bucket truck.

They provide a temporary platform for workers to access hard to reach areas at height.
Course Requirements.

Information on minimum training requirements for the Scissor Lift course is below:

Novice: For Candidates who have no experience of operating any kind of lift truck
Experienced: For Candidates with lots of practical experience and no initial formal training
Refresher: For Candidates recertification following expiry of their current Certificate
Conversion: For Candidates who have certification on one machine to be trained tested and certified on another

Scissor lift in good working and safe condition
A room to carry out the theory classroom elements of the course
An area of approximately 30sqm to operate the Forklift and conduct practical lessons and test
30 or more empty pallets
Loads to lift, move and stack
Racking or loads that can be stacked at ground, eye and high levels
