DMP Training UK Ltd provide Counterbalance Forklift Driver Training at our Training Centre near Bury St Edmunds and on-site across the East of England.
If you are considering learning to operate a forklift for the first time, then the counterbalance is the best place to start.
It is the most common type of forklift truck in the UK with the most popular size category in the 2.5t to 3.5t range.
The counterbalance truck operates on a quite simple principle: a counterweight positioned over the back wheels counterbalances the load that is lifted on the forks.
This basic principle forms the foundation for the basic principle in which other lift trucks operate.
Our courses are accredited by the Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register (ITSSAR), recognised nationally for Counterbalance Forklift Training.
The Counterbalance truck we use for training is a Mitsubishi 1.5 tonne 3-wheel electric, 5m triple mast, 1200mm forks, which is one of the most common lift truck size category (B1), having a 2500kg capacity, which makes it suitable for lorry loading training situations and with our pallet racking and realistically sized UK specification pallets.
We can accurately replicate typical warehousing conditions as well.
