DMP Driver Training provide PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) Coach and Bus driver training for category D tests across the East of England using training vehicles that are suitable for all PSV (Public Service Vehicle) drivers and operators.
We offer professional category D training for bus and coach drivers as well as category D1 training for minibuses.
We can satisfy requests from large PSV operators to individuals and make all arrangements with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency for test bookings.
Training can either be conducted 1 to 1 or 2 to 1 depending on the requirements of the customer.
Our facilities are Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) approved for vocational coach and bus Module 4 (practical demonstration) tests, this helps make your training precise and cost effective as time is not spent travelling to test centres.
We can arrange PCV medicals to obtain the provisional entitlement and hold the relevant forms (D2 + D4) at our training facility. Furthermore, we offer online training materials for the theory, hazard perception and case study tests and will provide you with expert advice throughout the process. Where required, we may be able to help introduce drivers to PSV operators looking for new staff.
Our structured training programs are designed to give preparation for the test as well as preparing candidates for driving Passenger Carrying Vehicles as part of a new career or as part of their existing working role. Our training vehicles are all automatic (you will gain both manual and automatic category 'D' entitlement if your car licence is manual).
For drivers who require the initial CPC tests we offer quality training programs either for groups from companies or individuals and arrange these training slots around pre booked tests that are again run from our training facility.
